This is not a slick book by some medical doctor, and that is what makes it worth while. Karen writes from her heart. She writes it as she lived it. While I do not have breast cancer, many of the people I pray with from my church talk about it as some one they know has it. As a man it can be hard for me to identify with what they are going through. Karen has helped me with life experiences as only she can. I know that they ring true because as a person with prostrate cancer, I have had many of the same experiences. The fear of being less than what I am, the scared of not wanting to die, and the dang loud MRI machine with all of its loud noises.
Pick up the book because someone you know will go through it in your life.
